WebbI am using arch linux and using bash as my shell. On windows I can use the powershell module "posh git" to show info about my git repo when I'm in a directory with a .git directory. It looks like there is a module for git for zsh that does this but I don't see an option like this for bash. Take a look at oh my bash, should fit the bill.
